2024 Instructor Application

Submit all materials (in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format) to dianeoc@thepowma.org by Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

Our goal is to offer an exciting day of classes to inspire, educate and support women in the martial arts. To do that, we need exciting and knowledgeable instructors!

Are you a highly experienced woman who teaches, runs a school, or has specialized knowledge and skills of particular value to women martial artists? Do you know other women who would make great presenters at our conference?

We are especially interested in class topics having to do with business and professional development; “how to teach” skills – especially ones addressing students at different levels, ages, or needs; advanced workouts; development and retention of advanced students; teaching self-defense to diverse populations; theory and principles of our various arts. In general, those who apply to be an instructor should have at least 25 years of martial arts training.

In return for their time, instructors receive free entry to the symposium and a monetary gift.

Submit all materials (in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format. Headshot photo in .jpg format) to dianeoc@thepowma.org by Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

If you have a question, please contact Diane Cooling at dianeoc@thepowma.org.
